Sorbact Surgical Dressing is a sterile, bacteria- and fungus-binding adhesive dressing that effectively prevents wound infections. The dressing features a green Sorbact surface, an absorbent pad, and a semi-permeable top film. Sorbact Surgical Dressing absorbs and binds wound exudate, maintaining the wound’s natural moisture balance. The water-repellent top film protects the wound from external contamination while allowing water vapor to pass through.
Purpose
Prevention or treatment of infection in incision wounds. Also suitable for treating all types of superficial, mildly exuding wounds such as traumatic wounds, skin tears, and abrasions. Can be used as a secondary dressing for the treatment of deep, exuding wounds. Also suitable for protecting the infection entry point of cannulas, needles, and drains.
